This highly specialized device is designed to provide gentle, continuous spinal correction for children and adolescents with severe, rigid spinal deformities such as complex scoliosis or kyphosis. This system integrates the supportive structure of a customized wheelchair with a carefully calibrated traction mechanism.

- Appropriate wheelchair will be provided based on the patient’s height, weight and age.
- Cross bar height is adjustable and allows for multiple pully selections for the best direction of pull.
- Rope, carabiners, ratchet rope adjusters, “S” hooks, and tools are provided.
- Halo head ring is not provided, but any head ring may be used.
- Traction weights need to be ordered separately.
- Wheelchair arrives assembled; just insert the outrigger and adjust the height.
- Staff training on the use of the equipment is available.
